Privacy Policy

Course & Cloth is operated by MuckStack. This policy explains, in plain language, what information we collect when you use this website and the Course & Cloth service, how we use it, and the choices you have.
This policy is written to be readable, not exhaustive legalese. It has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer; a reviewed version will replace it before it needs to do heavy lifting. Questions in the meantime: hello@courseandcloth.ai.
What we collect
On this marketing site
This site is a static informational site. It does not set accounts, run ads, or collect form submissions. Standard web-server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) may be recorded by our hosting provider for security and operations. Fonts are self-hosted, so no font request leaves this site.
In the Course & Cloth app
If you create an account at app.courseandcloth.ai, we collect what's needed to run the service: your name and email address, your company name if you provide one, your plan and billing status, and the questions you ask the analyst chat (so we can answer them, enforce plan limits, and improve answer quality). Payments are processed by our payment provider; we do not store your full card number.
What the product's data is
The market data inside Course & Cloth is observed from public retailer catalogs. It is information about products and prices, not about people. We do not collect data about retail shoppers.
How we use your information
- To provide the service: deliver the weekly brief, run the dashboard and analyst chat, and manage your subscription.
- To communicate with you about your account, including service and billing emails.
- To keep the service secure and debug problems.
- To understand aggregate usage so we can improve the product.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties except the service providers we need to operate (hosting, email delivery, payments, analytics), each bound to use it only on our behalf.
Subscribers receive the weekly brief and account emails. You can unsubscribe from the brief at any time via the link in each email; account and billing emails are part of having an account.
Data retention
We keep account data while your account is active. If you cancel and ask us to delete your account, we delete your personal information within 30 days, except records we're required to keep (such as billing records for tax purposes).
Your choices and rights
You can access, correct, or delete your personal information by emailing hello@courseandcloth.ai. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA; we honor reasonable requests regardless of jurisdiction.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top and, for material changes affecting account holders, notify you by email.
