Terms of Service
Last updated: July 13, 2026
These terms govern your use of Course & Cloth, operated by MuckStack ("we," "us"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.
These terms are written in plain language and have not yet been reviewed by a lawyer; a reviewed version will replace them. Questions: hello@courseandcloth.ai.
1. The service
Course & Cloth provides market intelligence derived from dated observations of public golf-retailer catalogs, delivered through a weekly emailed brief, a web dashboard, and an AI analyst chat. The service reports what public catalogs displayed on observation dates. It does not provide sales, sell-through, demand, or inventory data, and nothing in the service should be read as such.
2. Accounts
You need an account at app.courseandcloth.ai to use the service. Keep your credentials secure; you're responsible for activity under your account. One subscription covers use within your company for its internal purposes.
3. Plans, billing, and cancellation
- Plans are billed in advance, monthly or annually, at the prices shown at signup.
- Annual billing is ten months' price for twelve months of service.
- You can cancel anytime, self-serve, from the app. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; we don't prorate partial periods.
- Plan limits (such as analyst-chat questions per month) reset each billing month and don't roll over.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice; changes apply from your next billing period.
4. Acceptable use
Don't resell, republish, or redistribute the service's data as a competing product; don't scrape or bulk-export beyond the export features of your plan; don't attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the service. Quoting insights internally or in your own materials with attribution is fine — that's what the product is for.
5. The nature of the data
Our data reflects public catalog pages as displayed on specific observation dates, processed by automated normalization. We work to make it accurate and clearly dated, but catalogs change between snapshots, coverage varies by retailer, and normalization can err. The service is provided "as is," and we don't warrant that the data is error-free or fit for any particular decision. Business decisions you make using the service are yours.
6. Intellectual property
We own the service, its software, and its compiled datasets and analysis. Product names and trademarks of retailers and brands referenced in the data belong to their owners; their appearance in the service doesn't imply affiliation or endorsement.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits.
8. Termination
You can stop using the service anytime. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms; if we terminate without cause, we'll refund the unused portion of any prepaid period.
9. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms materially, we'll notify account holders by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use after that date is acceptance.
